ENgage Mentorship Programme brings together business expertise with academics, students, and alumni

building innovative ventures; by pairing Executive MBA participants from Said Business School, University of Oxford,

with startups & spinouts from the University of Oxford ecosystem.

To register your interest in participating as a Mentee (startup/spinout/early-stage venture) or Mentor

(Executive MBA candidate), please review the information below and complete the registration form.

Mentorship cohorts run annually. Ahead of each programme, the Programme Coordinator will reach out to all

those who have registered interest, with more details of the programme and to confirm availability.

Mentee Registrations

ENgage Mentees are startups/spinouts/early-stage ventures, affiliated with the University of Oxford. Companies may be directly affiliated with the University; or, founders may be academics, student, or alumni from the University of Oxford. Mentees may be in the ideation stage, or have progressed to incorporation and be refining or further developing their business model, or may be preparing for early stage investment. 

Eligible mentees must commit to:

Founder Engagement

At least one (1) founder must be directly engaged in in the Programme.

Monthly Participation

Mentees must commit to full participation; meeting monthly with your mentor with a time commitment of 3-6 hours per month.

Relationship Ownership

Mentees must take initiative to actively own the relationship and pro-actively engage with the Mentor.

Mentor Registration

ENgage Mentors are typically Executive MBA candidates of Said Business School, University of Oxford. The Programme occasionally accepts mentors that are affiliated with the University of Oxford, provided they have relevant expertise and experience. 

Eligible mentors must commit to:

Full Participation

Meeting a minimum of once per month, with a time commitment of 2-6 hours per month.

Active Engagement

Being responsive to the Mentee's engagement, with timely communication and pro-active support.

Setting Clear Expectations

Being up front and open on how you can support, and where you cannot support.
